Performance Conservatory

3 week session, July 11 – July 29

Grades 1 – 5

Design, produce, and perform a play this summer in Dragon’s Theatre Conservatory! Students in this program will use the support and guidance of their Teaching Artists to design and perform a play!

Students spend a portion of their day in theatre-disciplined workshops and receive tailored training in acting, set design, costuming, and prop creation from local theatre professionals. The other part of the day is dedicated to applying those skills in rehearsals and creating technical elements for a play to be performed at the end of the session. 

The performance will be shared with participants’ families via recording or in-person, as COVID restrictions allow.

Monday – Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm PT

Casa Circulo Cultural,

Additional Details

  • Camps will be held fully in-person, as COVID restrictions allow.
  • This experience will be limited to 15 participants, plus instructors.
  • Grades 1 – 5 will be hosted at Casa Circulo Cultural Center, 3090 Middlefield Rd, Redwood City, Ca 94063
  • Masks will be required at all times with the exception of meal times & snack breaks.**
  • Social distancing will be enforced at all times.**
  • Drop-off and pick-up details will be provided prior to the start of the session.
  • Students will have a lunch break & two snack breaks throughout the day. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch + snacks and their own water bottle each day.
  • Specific schedules and required registration forms will be sent prior to the camp start.

**As new COVID guidelines become available, requirements may adjust accordingly. Participants will be given advance notice of any changes.

Performance Boot Camp

3 different, 2 week sessions, 6/13/2022 – 8/1/2022

Grades 1 -5

Learn, play, grow, and perform this summer in Dragon’s Performance Boot Camp! Students in this program create a play working with other campers to create their idea and final performance!

Students will spend a portion of their day in theatre-disciplined workshops and receive training and exercises in acting, set design, costuming, and prop creation from local theatre professionals. The other part of the day students get to apply those skills in rehearsals and create technical elements for a play to be performed at the end of the session. 

Monday – Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm
