Programs Brought to You

We’re passionate about creating fun, engaging, and accessible educational opportunities for young learners. These opportunities are now in a new online format – accessible to students from anywhere with an internet connection!

Our in-school and after-school workshops go beyond the typical acting, singing, and dance class. Each program is designed to foster social-emotional development and encourage creative exploration in a safe, diverse learning environment.

Work with us to create a custom program that accommodates your community’s needs. Let us share with your students the joy, challenges, and growth made possible by a performing arts education!

Program Offerings

Each program creates a strong foundation in theatre arts, while simultaneously instilling the life skills of communication, confidence-building, self-expression, and teamwork!

Workshops & Courses

In these programs, we work with you to develop a class or series to benefit your unique students. No matter the length of your program, these workshops and courses are centered around the process and experience of the student through hands-on activities for exposure, skill development, and technique. We are also able to accommodate an informal demonstration at the conclusion of the multi-week series to share the experience with your community!

We offer a wide variety of performing arts disciplines and course content. Here are a few of our most popular class topics:

  • Improvisation
  • Stage Combat
  • Musical Theatre
  • Playwriting

Here are just some examples of other needs these experiences can fulfill for your organization:

  • Common Core and VAPA standards
  • Scout patches
  • After-school clubs
  • Homeschooling connections

Play & Musical Production

In our production development programs, we work with you to produce a theatrical performance at your facility. Our Education Director has a saying she drills into the students before the rehearsal process begins: “All actors are equal!” We believe this is also applicable behind the scenes. There is a place for every student within the performance, be it onstage as a performer, or backstage serving on the technical crew. In our productions, student performers learn acting, singing, and dancing skills while working as a cohesive ensemble towards a final performance. Technical opportunities are also available for participants to learn behind-the-scenes elements such as assistant director, stage manager, or serve on the technical crew for the production. We provide a full production staff to bring your community a fully realized production.

These programs are usually run with parent producers to act as liaisons between parents and the artistic team. At a minimum, we suggest a program length of 11 weeks from audition to performance weekend, with two to three rehearsals per week, depending on size and scope of the production. We have found the most success for a spring musical holding auditions in December before students leave for break, to ensure a thorough casting process and comprehensive rehearsal calendar to be made. Production titles can be chosen by parent producers, or we are happy to find a production suitable for your participants’ ages and the specific desires and capabilities of your community and space. A formal theatre such as a proscenium stage or black box are not necessary!
