
Adult Teaching Artists
Dragon is looking for experienced and passionate teaching artists to join our growing community!
Learn More We offer training for our community of adult students in the form of ongoing courses and short-term workshop opportunities in a variety of performing arts disciplines, and we’re always interested in expanding our offerings.
Stipends are set at $50 per teaching hour.
Required Skills for Teaching Artists
- Extensive expertise and experience in their specified performing arts field(s) and able to teach their discipline(s) to diverse communities and skill levels of adults;
- Create lesson plans, with guidance from the Education Director for program continuity; and
- Organization, punctuality, classroom management, and the ability to tailor lesson plans to individual student needs and/or abilities.

Redwood City Youth Teaching Artists
Redwood City Youth Theatre (RWCYT) is always accepting submissions for passionate and experienced teaching artists!
Learn More RWCYT provides training opportunities for students in grades K – 12 at both introductory and advanced levels to learn life and theatrical skills in the disciplines of acting, singing, and dance. All teaching artists report to the Education Director.
We are dedicated to keeping our programming affordable for our community and offering scholarships to those in need. We are also committed to working with the budgets of our outreach organizations to keep our programs accessible for all. Teaching Artists can expect an hourly pay of $30-$40 for individual workshops.
Required Skills for Youth Teaching Artists
- Organization, punctuality, classroom management, ability to tailor lesson plans to individual student needs and/or abilities. Proficient with the Zoom platform.
- Teachers should be proficient in their specified fields and able to teach their discipline(s) to designated youth age groups. The expectation is for teaching artists to create their own lesson plans with guidance from the Education Director for program continuity.
