Very Merry Dorktale
Friday, December 15 at 4:30p

“A Very Merry Dorktale” and “A Fezziwig Fest” are coming to downtown Redwood City to bring families classic holiday cheer with a geekish twist. Written by Karen Gardiner, “A Very Merry Dorktale” is a family-friendly, funny adaptation of the classic holiday tale by Charles Dickens about the BAH! HUMBUG! of a man called Ebenezer Scrooge. Jonathan Murphy (local voice actor) and Bora "Max"Koknar will bring the story alive through expressive storytelling and quirky character voices. Audiences will dance a jig like good old Fezziwig when Scrooge reluctantly learns how to honor Christmas in his heart and keep it all year long.

After the show, families are invited to “A Fezziwig Fest” for some geeky, Dickens-inspired holiday fun. Dragon Theatre’s “Spirits of Christmas” are planning such merriments as Christmas Pudding tastings, Parlor games, get-your-jig-on silliness, and make your own Christmas Crackers. Friends from the Redwood City Library are coming loaded with A Christmas Carol theme books, library cards, and crafts.

Please note the event planned for Sunday, December 17th has been cancelled and incorporated into Friday's event.
