Co-Artistic Director: Bora “Max” Koknar email him.
Bora “Max” Koknar (he/him) is a Turkish-born actor, director, writer, educator, producer and the Co-Artistic Director of the Dragon. In his professional career of 15+ years, Max has entertained over 500,000 people as a performer; produced a touring program serving over 100,000 children a year across the west coast; founded an education program designed to increase language fluency and communication skills of 100s of at risk youth in partnership with local elementary schools and the Ohio State University; created site specific and immersive experiences entertaining 1000s of people in partnership with venues including the SF MOMA, Fort Mason, and San Jose Japan Town with Epic Immersive; and collaborated with international tech giants such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Box, Intuit, Genentech, and Paradox Interactive as director, performer, executive coach, training facilitator and experience designer. Co-Artistic Director: Alika U. Spencer-Koknar email her.
Alika U. Spencer-Koknar (she/her) is a native to the Bay Area who graduated from Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in 2006.
As a performer, Alika also focuses on creating new and devised works. She has created self produced works and collaborated with companies like Golden Thread, Bindlepunks, foolsFury, First Person Travel,
Education Director for children and adults: Justine Bechler email her.
Justine (she/her) is a professional actor, singer, director, and vocal director and has a passion for theatre education for all ages and mentoring teenagers to be leaders and future teaching artists through internships. Justine is extremely dedicated to the success of each of her students as individuals as well as an ensemble. She loves passing on the knowledge of how the vocal instrument functions to impart proper singing techniques and helping actors overcome their challenges while simultaneously instilling confidence to students. She loves watching theatre bring people from all different backgrounds together and collaborate on a common goal. Justine is very excited to work with the students in this community to be the best performers and technicians they can be!
Patron Experience Manager: Lydia Feuerhelm emal her.
Lydia Feuerhelm is a movement artist, dance teacher, and arts administrator. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in dance in 2014, and after graduation danced with a variety of local choreographers including Margi Cole and Timothy Buckley. During her time in Chicago, she served as the Studio Director and Instructor at Ballroom Dance Chicago for 5 years. She relocated to the Bay Area in 2019 and recently completed a graduate certificate in Arts Administration. Her passion for performing arts started at a young age, and has remained a guiding force throughout her life. Since moving to the area, she has worked with Palo Alto Children’s Theatre, West Valley Dance Company, Veksler Academy of Music & Dance, Starting Arts, and Dance Visions. She currently serves as the Communications Associate for Deborah Slater Dance Theatre and Patron Experience Manager for Dragon Productions Theatre Company.

Rachel is a stage manager and technician based in the Bay Area, and is so excited to join the Dragon team as production manager!
Past Dragon credits include Macbeth, Three Days of Rain, Equivocation and both The One Hour Star Wars and The Making of the Star Wars Holiday Special, Live!. She has also worked as a stage manager and ASM for companies around the Bay, including New Conservatory Theatre Center, Opera San Jose, Merola Opera Program, and Sunnyvale Community Players, and also worked farther afield with Oregon Cabaret Theatre and Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre. She is an alumna of the Professional Training Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville, and she holds a B.A. in Theatre and Creative Writing from Denison University in Granville, OH.

Kimberly Ridgeway (she/her) has been working professionally as Director, Actor, Playwright and Producer in film and theater for over 20 years. Kimberly wrote, produced and directed the stage plays No More Secrets, Prospect Place, Heavy Burdens and The Gigolo Chronicles, and the short film The Confession. Kimberly has directed projects for Dragon Productions Theatre Company, Altarena Playhouse, Contra Costa Civic Theatre, Bay Area Drama Company, Ubuntu Theatre Project, Bay Area Performing Arts Collective, Playwrights Center of San Francisco and TheatreFirst. Some of her favorite acting roles include Mrs. Muller, Doubt, Coretta Scott King/Fannie Lou Hamer, All the Way, Duchess, Wonderland (World Premiere), Biz, The Human Ounce (World Premiere), Randa in Altarena’s Savannah Sipping Society and Camae in The Mountaintop for which she won the 2016 BroadwayWorld San Francisco Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play (Local).

Graphic designer. Illustrator. Copywriter. Chocolate connoisseur. In that order. For the past 20 years, Maggie has helped entrepreneurs, non profits and small- to medium-businesses tell the world their story.
