Dragon Youth Theatre programs offer students a creative outlet and safe place to explore all aspects of theatre creation. We have seen first hand how theatrical opportunities can help youth grow into confident and successful adults, regardless of if they choose to continue in the arts.
We provide drop-in opportunities as well as full courses ending with showcases to best suit the schedules of our communities.
Our summer is full of two and three week programs to immerse students in theatrical training ending with performance opportunities.
Whether you have just learned to walk or are going off to college and auditioning for our professional opportunities, we’ve got a program for you!

Dragon Teaching Artists have a variety of theatrical works to choose from at the open of every program to ensure that every student can perform a piece they’re proud of. All programs with a showcase will vary their performance selections between sessions depending on the students strengths and interests.
To date, Dragon has never had to turn away a scholarship request. It’s important to us that every person have access to theatre education. We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters for making this possible.

Our Virtual Class policies ensure the most valuable creative experiences regardless of the circumstances.
Virtual classes will start promptly at the scheduled start time. Please do your best to sign on to Zoom 5 minutes early so that you may address any last minute issues.
It is encouraged that students participate in class with wireless headphones, if possible. Classes will include movement, so wired headphones may be restrictive to the student’s participation.
No virtual backgrounds will be allowed, unless agreed upon with the instructor. We never want a student to feel uncomfortable in the Zoom meetings, but some virtual backgrounds can be quite distracting.
Students should have their cameras and microphones on at all times, unless otherwise instructed by the teacher.
All classes are scheduled to record for quality control and potential marketing purposes. When registering, parents have the option to sign, or not sign, a photo release. Those without a signature would not be included in any future marketing.
Read More about our late pickup policy
All classes will have a late pick-up fee of $1 per minute per student.
Dragon does not offer after-camp care. If you know you are going to be late for pickup – please call your site as soon as possible.
