Dragon Teaching Artists have a variety of theatrical works to choose from at the open of every program to ensure that every student can perform a piece they’re proud of. All programs with a showcase will vary their performance selections between sessions depending on the students strengths and interests.

To date, Dragon has never had to turn away a scholarship request. It’s important to us that every person have access to theatre education. We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters for making this possible.

Dragon Youth Theatre will provide all the creative materials your child needs! Make sure to send your child to their program with a mask (please see individual program Covid & mask policies sent a week prior to the start date), a water bottle, and enough food for the length of time your child will be with Dragon if necessary.

All participants are strongly encouraged to obtain COVID-19 vaccination. While all staff are fully vaccinated, Dragon Youth Theatre is aware that all participants may not be, therefore safety protocols are put in place for the protection of staff, students, and their families.

These preventative strategies may be stricter than CDC, state, and local guidance to ensure the safety of our community.

Students will be asked to wear masks during group activities. If a student rehearses/performs by themselves or with a small group/partner, they can decide whether or not to wear the mask if all students agree.

Shared surfaces and equipment will be cleaned or disinfected daily.

In the event of an outbreak, correspondence and contact information for local and state health departments will be provided.

All in-person artistic programming requires audiences to show proof of vaccination (booster included) for entry and to remain masked while indoors. Dragon always supports Santa Clara County guidelines and reserves the right to change these policies as CDC recommendations and requirements adjust without notice.

Your donation to Dragon Youth Theatre  will be used to support children in accessing quality theatre education and programming.
